We go on sourcing trips to other regions to maintain present relationships and hunt for new coffees. 

We prepare and send green coffee samples to you.

HERE TRADITIONS MEET THE SCIENCE

At Cafelumbus lab, we work to obtain the best coffee using different techniques that allows us improve the flavors and quality, using:

Carbonic maceration

Process:

Creation and proliferation of ecosystems by injection of oxygen.

*Carbonic: CO2 rich environment

Lactic Fermentation

Process:

Immersion of the cherries in water, where lactic acid bacteria growth from the sugar of its pulp under anaerobic conditions

Lactic Honey

Process:

Creation of ecosystems when leaving the mucilage honey of the cherries, then is allowed to dry without washing so the fermentation and oxidation continue.

Honey

Process:

The process starts by pulping the coffee and then spreads it out for drying without any washing to leave part of the pulp
