The harvest in most of the Regions of Colombia are finished, now the farmers are preparing their facilities and crops for the next main harvest. Some of this task they do is cleaning the land, pruning, fertilization of the soil this helps to receiving in good conditions the harvest in the second semester of 2022 or in zones that the next harvest will be in the beginning of the year 2023.
Coffee price keeps rising and the availability of specialty coffee is limited, because the producers are satisfied with the current domestic market prices and are not willing to put much effort into the production of specialty coffees.
We have experimented a constant Rainy season in Antioquia region so the harvest for second semester can be delayed this year and production projections remain uncertain.
